How to collect your Gandama.
Why did I generally start collecting these models? Well, I like robots, I like the design of Gandama and other mobile armor. And one of the most important points.
These models are very friendly to beginners. There will be enough nippers and model knife for assembly.

For assembly you do not need to glue anything, the whole structure is thoughtfully built on the fact that the details are attached to each other on the pin. But you should not confuse this, everything is very reliable.
According to the results of the work, your hands will already have a very decent detailed model made in the desired color scheme.
But this does not mean that the assembly process is easy, it is light enough, no matter what to enrage you. And if you are not satisfied with the basic color or basic detail, then you can independently finalize the model. The instructions almost always accurately indicate the colors used in the coloring of the model and the diagram indicating the location of all sorts of characters and inscriptions.
Starting to collect the model, you must be aware of a few things. Firstly, they are made so that the most wide circle of buyers could collect them. In this case, they should look as good as possible. This is the whole point that both the child and the adult could collect models with interest.
Secondly, you should not be afraid that the instruction is written in Japanese. In 95% of cases, hieroglyphs do not play any role, all the inscriptions are depicted in the pictures, it shows that how to twist and where to definitely install a part.

The assembly system, in principle, is simple. The instructions are divided into thematic pieces, torso, head, arms, legs and so on. Each assembly step has its own figure.
That is, you decide to collect your head. Open the page, it either indicates which giggers you need, or look at the picture from what dates the details are needed. Take them, put the rest. And begin to cut off the details, according to the instructions and connect as in the picture.

To the assembly of the 78th, I approached responsibly, immediately told myself that certainly I would not rush, and I won’t sit down through the orient. I started working on what method, first I decided to collect weapons and accessories, then the model belt, as a rule, these things are left for later in the instructions. That is, you collect them with an almost ready -made model in your hands. And you can start rushing or hacking. So that weapon and belt are the first thing.
Generally the assembly is relatively simple, because the design of the model itself is simple. Except that a small fighter is inserted into her stomach.
In general, this is the trouble of the series. The 78th does not need any buns, such as a huge lethal to which it is attached.
There is no such thing in the set, but the fighter remained, because it is also like a control cabin. But it can not even be inserted into the stomach, so there is no harm.

I did not paint the model at all, everything is very good with the coloring of details. Only a little painted the seams. This is an interesting moment, all kinds of dividing lines on the details that imitate the surface of the armor can be painted with a black marker. You need a thin marker thick, somewhere 03 mm.

The method is simple, take a marker along such a seam, then take a cotton wool and erase the excess. This gives the model volume, and it looks better with it.
But in general this is not necessary, in the end you decide. For example, at Unicorn Gundam, I did not stain the seams at all. Because it looks better purely white, and in Destroy Mode - he does not need painted seams.
In the 78th, due to the fact that the inner skeleton is sheathed with external details, not many places where the stitching is required.

I often justify my laziness and unwillingness to use crooked hands (very quickly I get upset from how everything comes out crookedly) appeal to the fact that these images are not drawn in anime, which means so canonical.
But in this case, I looked at the gluing scheme, and I realized that something would definitely have to stick.
A few words about the eyes. As a rule, the eyes of the model is a sticker. Of course, the most reliable option is to paint, because it is glued at an angle, and there is a chance that over time the eyes can fall off. And by this time it would be nice for me to learn how to paint my eyes. So, the 78th had 2 types of eyes, black edging and yellow eyes and black edging and a transparent place. That the backlight would be seen. Well, here the choice is obvious.
And if you want to paint something, then the flag is in your hands. Despite the fact that I do not like to contact the paint - because it comes out desperately crooked, I have a set of colors.
